Summary
An oak centre table or trestle table, English, part early 17th century. Adapted and altered in the 19th century. The rectangular top raised on huge twin carved 'cup and cover' supports and cruciform feet, tied by a central stretcher. The top 19th century, the trestle supports probably early 17th century and may have been adapted from the foot posts of a tester bedstead.

Originally on loan and subsequently bequeathed to the National Trust from Miss P Fellows.
