A tin-glazed earthenware claret jug with a cylindrical mouth and bulbous body. There is a handle at the back that rests flat against the body of the jug. The front has an inscription 'CLARET 1650' with an arabesque underneath. Although this object appears to be from the mid 17th Century, it is probably a reproduction.
