Summary
A joined oak child's armchair, Salisbury, Wiltshire, early 17th century. The panelled back surmounted by a nulled crest, with down swept arms, solid plank seat and turned legs. Reduced in height and originally fitted with a foot rest to the front legs.
Provenance
Gifted to the National Trust from Miss P. J. Young, East Morden, Dorset in 1980.
