Caption
Curtains of figured chenille add warmth and richness to the Entrance Hall. The fabric, in a colourful peacock pattern by Sidney Mawson, was woven by Alexander Morton & Co, and these actual curtains were made in the 1920s for Morton’s own house in Scotland.
