Summary
Four silver candlesticks. Fluted columns with corinthian capitals on square bases. The plinths are decorated with garland festoon decorations in relief and circular beading. The festooning partly encircles an oval medallion containing the Vernon crest, a sword and sheaves of corn. On the remaining three sides of the plinth are three large urns with lids. Hallmarked London 1774 - 1775(?). Maker's mark I.C, John Carter.
