Summary
Sepia photograph of the pen and ink and colour wash drawing in the British Museum by Sir James Thornhill, c. 1710. Shows Hanbury from the South East with gentlemen playing bowls and the formal garden with immature hedges and espalier fruit on brick walls, with the stable buildings beyond, the cupola on the house is open. One of three copies, Hill, number no.11.
