Summary
The left-hand side of a skirt section in cream silk in five panels joined by machine/machine seam wide seams. Stitched with embroidered thread with four lines of stitching on each seam. Hip level is joined to the lower section by horizontal diamond-shaped seams in machine/machine. The hemline of the back section has elongated pointed shapes. Around the waist level is a thick band padded with three thicknesses of silk braid. At the top of four of the panels at waist level are stamped a circular black stamp and capital letter : L. The front is ankle length but the back goes into a long train.
