Summary
Textile boxes 15-18. Two pairs of curtains, from the South Drawing Room. Faded lime green silk. Lined and interlined. Rufflette tape, gathered, 26 hooks (a-b), 32 hooks(c-d). See also T/663. Textile boxes 19-20. A pair of pair of curtains. Lime green shot silk. Lined and interlined. Gathered into band with 27 hooks. Water stained and fractured. Textile boxes 19- 20. A pair of curtains. Lime shot silk, lined and interlined and gathered onto a band with fourteen old brass hooks. Very fractured. See other curtains and pelmet on table in E5. Textile box 19. Half a curtain. Lime shot silk. Lined and interlined. Gathered onto band with 6 old brass hooks. Half removed down seam and an extra piece removed, probably for patching. See other curtains and pelmet on table in E5. Textile boxes 18 and 19.Seven pelmets. A pelmet, on display in SDR. A pelmet, rectangular. Faded lime green silk, water-stained. Several braided shaped panels - see diagram on house card. Stiffened and lined, with webbing header. Tack holes. See also T/664. A pelmet. Lime green shot silk, lined and stiffened. Decorated with half inch braid in panels. Some braid at edges has been removed. Some tacks in place. Four pelmets. Lime green silk. Lined, interlined and stiffened. Trimmed with half inch gold braid in shaped panel. Two have been shortened and braid removed.

Part of the Lothian Collection. The Hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940)
