Summary
Textile Box 4. A curtain from an unmatched pair. Block and roller printed chintz. Glazed cotton with cartouche and floral design on white ground, stained to beige. Lined. Lining header tape with 11 stitched rings. Bound edges. Very badly and irregularly patched in the same material. Very worn and rotted. See also T/233,433,548 and 666.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The Hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
