Summary
A black bicorne hat with two different wide black ribbons, front decorated with large gold work motif, small gold colour tassels at corners, crown lined with pink/crimson silk. Part of the uniform of the Royal Company of Archers, the Soveriegn's ceremonial bodyguard in Scotland. Circa early C19. BL89.3* Metal hat box for bicorne hat, painted black with red splodges.
