Summary
Textile Box 114. A bed curtain. Red silk damask with a floral design, the lining made-up of pieces of different quality and colour. With a band across the top with seven brass rings. Worn on the right side. Attributed to the State Bed but damask does not match (not included in State bed re-structure 2022).
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The Hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
