Summary
Two pelmets, made of quilted fabric, silvery-grey faded to beige. With a cream fringed braid, worn in the centre. Early 21st Century lining and a velcro border. From the Chinese Bedroom. Matches headboard covers T/563,564. Two headbord covers with shaped tops, made of cream quilted cotton. With self piped edges and a fringed braid added later. A beige cotton backing. Two quilted covers in deep cream machined diamond quilting on cream sateen silk. Lined and edged with a one inch silk fringe. BL159.1-2.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The Hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
