Summary
One of two square glass inkwells. English, early 20th Century. A thick and heavy moulded square body with bevelled edges, a short raised neck above the rounded ink compartment. Similar in design to smaller inkwells BLI/G/28 and BLI/G/4.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The Hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1940 by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
