Summary
One of a set of thirteen mahogany dining chairs, English, circa 1780. With a shaped top rail and pierced tapered back splat above an overstuffed seat on square section chamfered legs tied by stretchers.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
