Summary
A mahogany wash stand, English, circa 1800. With a double hinged top rising as a splash back with retractable mirror and with recesses for brushes and pots. The body of angled form with a pair of cupboard doors and a drawer below on sabre legs tied by a shelf stretcher. Fittings missing.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
