Summary
Print, engraving, Scene of a Road with an Ox-cart (after Gaspard Dughet) by Jean-Baptiste-Claude Chatelain (c.1710 - London c.1771). Country road with pair of oxen pulling a cart with drover with long stick in front of oxen. Figure reclining at side of road, wooded and rockly landscape behind, temple building in right far distance. No inscription. Within original border, with reproduction corded bow. From a collection of 52 prints, C18, affixed around the walls of the Print Room.
