Summary
Domed cover for pot-pourri vase. Possibly Wedgwood, c.1820. Cover with 16 large holes and a flattened knob handle. Earthernware, pearlware, transfer-printed with a chintz-like pattern of flowers and foliage on an orange shagreen ground.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
