Summary
Pot-pourri vase with cover and inner lid. Possibly Wedgwood, c.1820. Earthenware, pearlware, of campanum form, transfer-printed with a chintz-like pattern of flowers and foliage on an orange shagreen ground. Red rim and base. Marked in red on base '1845 x'.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
