Summary
Teapot. Clignancourt, Paris, c.1775-1791. Hard-paste porcelain. Gilt sprig decoration and lines on white ground. Stencilled monogram in red 'LSX' for Louis-Stanislas Xavier, Comte de Provence, later Louis XVIII. Part of a tea service. Porcelaine de Monsieur.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
