Summary
Sugar basin lid. Part of tea service by Pierre and Jean Verneuilh of Bordeaux. 2 panels of multi-coloured flowers, gilt rope borders top and bottom, gilt dots and stars, on white ground. Gilt ball finial handle.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
