Summary
Coffee cup. Part of a tea service by Pierre and Jean Verneuilh of Bordeaux, c.1781-7. Decorated with panel of multi-coloured flowers, gilt rope border, gilt dots and stars, gilt lines, on white ground. Gilt foliage on handle. Marked in gilt on base 'VV'.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
