Summary
Cover for ecuelle or broth bowl. Meissen circa 1765. Pink and gilt with panels of fruit and flowers. Alternate panels of flowers and gilt trellis, on white ground reserves. Open flower forms handle of cover.
Provenance
Part of the Lothian Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust by Philip, 11th Marquess of Lothian (1882-1940).
