Flag of the 4th (Royal South Middlesex) Militia, which was raised during the Napoleonic Wars in 1797 and disbanded in 1881, when personnel were absorbed into the 5th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. Union Jack on dark background with crest in centre.

colours sent to Lady Ernestine Edgcumbe, sister of Honarary Colonel of the Regiment, in 1881, when she was living at Cotehele.
