Mug, 'Gorges', stoneware with salt glaze, of globular form, combed neck, details painted in cobalt blue and manganese, incised decoration ("scratch blue") and impressed with royal monogram 'GR' cipher for George Rex, Westerwald, Germany c.1714-1820.
