An oval head-and-shoulders portrait of the sitter who is turned towards the right and looks out at the spectator. She is set against a white cloudy sky with landscape suggested at the far left. One of a pair of oval portraits in gilded frames. A companion to 343532, a portrait of Henry Ferrers Ferrers (formerly Ferrers Croxon), who became Beatrice Petre's husband. The Hon. Beatrice Mary Petre was the daughter of Hon.
