Summary
An item found in the clay filling beneath the Chapel floor boards during major repairs, 1980-1981. One of two spoons, one with a hole in the bowl and the other with pressed pattern on rear. No sign of rust, suggesting they are not ferrous metal but probably a zinc-based die casting which would make them 20th century. They are therefore possibly dolls' spoons of around 1925.
