Basket Guard Sword G v R. Inscribed on blade with floral and strapwork decorative engraving. In memory of Eric Arthur Walker, young brother of Thomas Walker. Killed in action near Armentiers, France, Dec. 29 1915.
Provenance
Acquired by the National Trust in 1980 as part of the house, estate and collection transferred from Thomas Ferrers-Walker. Brought to Baddesley by Mr Ferrers-Walker.
