Full-length Staffordshire figure of Victor Emmanuel II on a horse, facing right, in kepi tunic, cloak over both shoulders and trousers. Left hand holds the reins on the horse's neck; right hand on back of saddle.

Provenance

part of collection built up by Thomas Balston (d.1967). He wrote about the collection in Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Age, 1958.
