Full-length Staffordshire figure of Amelia Bloomer, Mrs Dexter Bloomer (1818 - 1894), standing, in a broad-brimmed and plumed hat, worn on the back of her head, a long coat buttoned at the neck and 'Bloomers'. An umbrella in her left hand.

part of collection built up by Thomas Balston (d.1967). He wrote about the collection in Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Age, 1958.
