Full-length Staffordshire figures of Prince Albert and Napoleon III, both standing, a wall and a heap of shells between them. Napoleon III in a kepi under a Tricolor (left). Albert in a cocked hat under the Union Jack (right).

Provenance

part of collection built up by Thomas Balston (d.1967). He wrote about the collection in Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Age, 1958.
