Full-length Staffordshire figures of Prince Albert and Napoleon III, both standing, a wall and a heap of shells between them. Napoleon III (left) in a kepi under the Tricolor, and Albert (right) in a cocked hat under the Union Jack.

Provenance

part of collection built up by Thomas Balston (d.1967). He wrote about the collection in Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Age, 1958.
