Adhered to front pastedown: remnants of printed label. Pencil marks on upper wrapper and front endpapers. Provenance: adhered to front flyleaf recto: book label "Sum Caroli Whibley" [Charles Whibley (1859–1930)]. Binding: eighteenth-century pale blue paper (worn at head and tail of spine). Uncut edges. Tied and cased.
