Provenance: adhered to front pastedown: eighteenth-century Jacobean armorial bookplate (Franks 32206), lettered: William Windham Esquire [either William Windham II (1717-1761) or William Windham III (1750-1810)]; adhered to title page recto, seventeenth-century armorial bookplate (Franks 8788/*267) lettered: William Dobyns of Lincolns-Inn Esq. [William Dobyns or Dobbins, 1646/7-1709, solicitor]. Binding: eighteenth-century full calf (very worn), blind fillets to form a border, six raised bands, remnants of gilt decoration, wanting spine-label, gilt-tooled edges. Tied and cased.
