Contains annotations and passages of underlining throughout. Provenance: in ink on front flyleaf recto, inscription: 'He. Buxton to Charlotte Upcher June 4 1822'. Binding: nineteenth-century full calf, gilt fillets to form a double border, gilt decorations at border corners. Five raised bands, gilt decorative panels and lettering.
