Small deep gouge (beetle/louse damage?) though all pages from front pastedown to page 5. Provenance: in ink on front pastedown 'Cha Whitmore'. In ink on half-title: 'J. H.[?] Whitmore'. Binding: Eighteenth-century full speckled calf; double gilt ruled to form a border; sewn onto five raised cords with gilt rules; red spine label with gilt lettering.
