Provenance: Manuscript inscription in black ink on front pastedown: 'G. W. Blathwayt, Langridge Somersetshire 1795'.[= Rev. George William Blathwayt (1759-1806)] Binding: late eighteenth-century marbled tan leather over boards; gold tooled board edges; gold tooling to spine; red leather spine label with 'Spelman's Xenophon' lettered in gold.
