Binding: late seventeenth or early eighteenth-century brown calfskin, with Cambridge-style design of three concentric rectangular frames, some speckled, blind double borders, blind stamp leaf cornerpieces and mitred edges; gilt roll pattern on board edges; sewn on five supports; raised bands, five supports laced-in; endbands, green and purple thread primary sewing (faded), front beads; gilt title on red goatskin label; pastedown; endleaves; red speckled edges.
