Binding: eighteenth-century mottled dark brown calf over boards with gilt double fillet border and gilt fleurons at the corners. Blind roll pattern on board edges. Sewn on to four supports; raised bands, two supports laced in. Endbands with front beads. Gold-tooled spine with gilt title on red goatskin label and gilt vol. number and publication year on green goatskin label. Red and brown sprinkled edges. Plain pastedowns; endpapers.
