[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Ellys]. Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; gilt roll pattern on board edges; gilt-tooled spine with gilt title label and vol. number; comb and swirl pattern marbled endpapers; red sprinkled edges.
