The eighth edition, revised and corrected. With notes .. an index .. and Dionysius Vossius's supplement.. xxxii,430,[18]p., 12 plates (some folding). ill.., maps. 8vo. Acquired by the National Trust with other former Dyrham books in April 2022. Remnants of a white paper label stuck to rear. Provenance: manuscript inscription in ink on front pastedown, partially removed, with date of 1785; manuscript inscription in brown ink on front flyleaf 'Blathwayt'. Binding: eighteenth-century very lightly sprinkled tan leather over boards; sewn on five raised bands; gold tooling to board edges (little remaining); simple gold tooling to spine around bands; red leather spine label with 'Bladen's Caesar's Comment' lettered in gold with double fillet border in gold.
