Mosley" [i.e. Ashton Nicholas Mosley (1768-1830) or perhaps his son, Ashton Nicholas Every Mosley (1792-1875)]. On verso: "NB. I bought this book, at a public auction held in Etwall, of various effects belonging to the Cotton family there, in June 1828 - cost 12/ A.N. Mosley." With marking and annotation in Mosley's hand (p.58). Binding: eighteenth-century[?] sprinkled calf; double blind fillet borders, and centre panel, with blind tooled sornerpieces; on four raised bands; gold lettered black spine labels (probably C19th), dated erroneously 1669.
