Sep. 1880"; below in twentieth-century hand "R.W.K.C. from M.B.J. granddaughter of C.E. Donne 1967" [i.e. Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969) from Mary Barham Johnson]. With a detailed explanatory note by R.W.K.C. on following leaf. T.p. signed "C.E. Donne" [i.e. Charles Edward Donne, vicar of Faversham, off his father, William Bodham Donne (1807-1882)].
