Binding: early eighteenth-century French red morocco gilt, triple gilt round covers with the arms of Count Hoym. Lettered and numbered directly in second and third panels, the rest decorated with curl tools. Green silk marker, red, black and green headbands; edges gilt over marble; endleaves of gold on white with regular pattern of stylised flowerheads. Probably bound by A.-M. Padeloup.
