Provenance: manuscript inscription in black ink on front pastedown: “A Windham” [i.e. Ashe Windham (1673-1749)]. Binding: late seventeenth-century full sprinkled calf; sewn on four supports; double blind fillet border, double and single blind fillet panel with blind cornerpiece stamps; gilt roll pattern on board edges; blind-tooled spine; manuscript title (faded) and remnants of lozenge-shape paper label on spine; red sprinkled bookblock edges.
