Binding: French red morocco, c.1780, gilt flat spine with olive lettering-piece; green silk marker, blue and white headbands, gilt edges, endpapers with a mauve floral design embossed on a gold ground. Ascribed to Derome in the Beckford slae catalogue, but neither tools nor the style appear to be his.
