Binding: early seventeenth-century French red morocco gilt, covers with a panel; flat spine wholly decorated with branches; board edges with straight line and hatching; edges gilt. Endleaves relaid in early nineteenth-century, printed waste lining lower cover; head and tail of spine repaired, holes of original ties filled in.
