Binding: eighteenth-century French red morocco, arms on covers, probably of the Law family, but possibly of Jacques-Léonor Rouxel, comte de Médavy, called the maréchal de Grancey (1659-1725). Lettered directly, red and white headbands, blue silk marker, gilt edges, fine-combed marbled endleaves.
