Late sixteenth-century contents note on fol. 1v detailing the five individual works in a bound-in volume of which this was once part, plus eighteenth-century note written by John Mitchell: "Also, a MS. Latin poem on the Massacre of Paris. Now bound separately here". Binding: eighteenth-century mottled calf; sewn onto five sewing supports; gold-tooled spine; gilt spine title 'MASSAD [sic] OF PARIS'; red sprinkled bookblock edges; six eighteenth-century blank fly-leaves at front and rear.
