[arms are those of Bedingfeld quartering Montagu[?], the whole impaling Jerningham, i.e. Sir Richard Bedingfeld, 5th Bt. (1767-1829), married Charlotte Jerningham in 1795)]. Manuscript inscription at head of title page: "Henry Bedingfeld 1749 Price £1 1s 0d" [i.e. Sir Henry Arundell Bedingfeld, 3rd Bt. (1689-1760)]. Binding: eighteenth-century full calf; double blind fillet to form an outer border; blind rolled at joint edge; sewn onto six raised bands; red spine label (gilt-tooled): 'Wood's Institute'; blind edge rolled.
