Inscribed facing "R.W. Ketton-Cremer Felbrigg 1954" [i.e. Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)]. Binding: early nineteenth-century red morocco; thin, thick and thin triple gilt fillet and blind roll border; blind tooled spine, with gilt fillets, and five false bands; gilt rolls on board edges and turn-ins; gilt lettered spine: Watts's Views.
